Individualized lessons in the comfort of your home or online: piano, saxophone, other woodwinds, Jazz, theory, ear training, and plenty more topics can be covered to suit your goals, taste and practice.
🎙️ Recording / Production / Songwriting Workshop
In The Inner Sound Garage Studio, West Cary
90-minute small group · Intermediate to Advanced
Create your own tracks from scratch! We’ll explore the full production process—from songwriting to mixing/mastering—in a hands-on, collaborative environment. No practice or homework required (though it always helps!).
🎵 Improvisation Workshop (All Levels)
40-minute small group · Open to All
Explore improvisation in a playful, supportive setting. We’ll stretch our ears, explore sound, rhythm, interaction, and develop confidence through creative games and guided exercises. No experience or practice required—just curiosity!
🎷 Improvisation Intensive (Intermediate/Advanced)
60-minute small group · 2+ years of instrumental experience required
For students eager to grow as improvisers in jazz, pop, rock, and beyond. This workshop emphasizes musicianship, listening, and creativity—and requires at least 2 hours of self-practice per week to keep up with the group’s progress.
