About Inner Sound

Founded by saxophonist, composer, and educator Joe Wilson, Inner Sound is a creative studio for music learning and performance in the Triangle, NC. After over a decade performing and teaching in New York City, Houston, and worldwide, Joe brought his passion for personalized, real-world music-making to North Carolina in 2019.

Since then, Joe and Inner Sound have served hundreds of students and clients — from preschoolers to retirees — through lessons, workshops, performances, and custom music projects. Whether you’re learning an instrument for the first time or booking live music for your event, Inner Sound is here to help you explore, grow, and share your sound.
